SYAD was founded in 2009 to automate procurement and tax compliance processes. More than fifteen years later we remain independent — and now we also develop our own SaaS product.
We started in 2009 with a clear mission: help Latin America’s leading enterprises digitize their procurement processes and ensure tax compliance. For over fifteen years we have represented and implemented the best SaaS platforms on the market.
Over time we identified gaps that no vendor covered well: multi-source screening and real LATAM compliance. That’s why we built iVal — our own SaaS platform, built from scratch, designed for the region’s regulatory landscape.
Today we are a specialized consultancy with our own product. We continue to implement leading platforms, but we also bring our own solution to market.
Unlike certified partners who earn commission on every license sold, SYAD bills exclusively for services. We have no financial incentives tied to any specific platform.
This allows us to recommend the platform that best fits your business — even if it’s not the most expensive, the most complex, or the one “everyone uses.” Sometimes the best recommendation is to implement nothing new, and we’ll tell you that.
Our consultants are not salespeople. They are engineers, procurement experts, accountants, and specialists who have implemented the platforms we recommend.
When we say “this can be done in 3 sprints,” it’s because we’ve done it before. When we say “you’ll run into a problem with SAT here,” it’s because we’ve seen it at another client.
Every client has a dedicated team that knows their context, their systems, their regulatory nuances, and their internal culture. We don’t rotate consultants across projects or subcontract.
This means that when you call us 3 years later for an enhancement, the same person who implemented your solution remembers how it was configured and why — you don’t start from scratch with every engagement.
We prefer to deliver value in 2- to 4-week iterations with something running, rather than producing 200-page documents that nobody reads. Value is proven by operating, not planning.
We apply real agile principles: prioritized backlog, tangible deliverables, rapid feedback, adjustments between sprints. And we avoid consulting theater: less PowerPoint, more implementation.
Our contracts are simple: defined scope, fixed price, clear timeline. If there are scope changes, we discuss them explicitly, document them, and agree in writing before executing.
